Booking Conditions & Cancellation Policy

Arrival: We like to welcome all our guests on arrival at the house and request that guests agree their arrival time in advance and adhere to the agreed time on arrival day.

Booking Deposit: Payment of a booking deposit representing 30% of the full rental cost is required to secure a reservation.

Changeover Day: Saturday is the standard changeover day for bookings during the Summer. For the rest of the year some flexibility may be possible - please email us with your particular preferences/requirements.

Check-in /Check-out: Check-in is 5.00 p.m. on arrival day. Should this time not be possible for you let us know and an alternative time will be agreed in advance of your arrival. Please be aware that Check-out is no later than 10.00 a.m. on departure day. We request that guests leave the house and its furnishings in a clean and tidy condition and let us know of any breakages and/or malfunctions.

Electricity: Electricity usage (includes heating, hot water, cooking & lighting) is included in the rental rate. Above normal usage may incur an additional charge which will be deducted from the Security Deposit.

Final Payment: The balance of the rental cost along with the refundable Security/Damage Deposit of €400 Euro, are payable no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival date.

Method of Payment: Payment in Euro by any of the following: Credit Card, PayPal, Electronic Bank Transfer.

Minimum Stay: Our rental rates are based on stays of 7 nights. Shorter stays are possible outside of Summer (June, July and August) and may attract a higher nightly rate - please email us with your particular preferences/requirements.

No Pets: Pets of any kind are not permitted anywhere in or near the house.

No Smoking: We operate a very strict no smoking policy. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. We request that all guests respect this condition at all times.

Occupancy: Sneem Secret Harbour is available for a maximum of 6 guests and comfortably accommodates this number. Strictly only guests named in the Rental Agreement may stay at the property.

Rental Agreement: Full booking terms and conditions will be provided under Rental Agreement at time of booking.

Rental Rate: The rental rate includes custom welcome hamper on arrival, supply of all household essentials, luxury guest toiletries, crisp white bed linen, soft white towels, electricity, high speed wifi, smart tv, books, art materials, games, firewood, pre-arrival and normal post-departure cleaning.

Security/Damage Deposit €400: The refundable Security/Damage Deposit is returned within 7 days of departure, less any costs in the unfortunate event of any breakages or damages and any other expenses e.g. use of gas bbq, extra cleaning requested during your stay or required following your departure.

Note:

• Payment of the booking deposit/full rental cost constitutes acceptance of the booking terms & conditions.
• Breach of any of these conditions may result in part or all of the security deposit being forfeited.

Cancellation Policy

In the unfortunate event that you may need to cancel your booking, we request that you let us know as early as possible. We would like to reassure guests that individual circumstances will always be taken into account at the discretion of Sneem Secret Harbour. If practical, we will give you the option to move your booking to a future date, subject to availability. If this is not feasible, we will do our best to re-let the cancelled booking and, if successful, we will refund monies paid up to that time, less €75 administrative fee and any other charges. However, if neither of above scenarios prevail, we reserve the right to apply the following cancellation policy. If cancellation is made:

• More than 60 days prior to arrival: 100% refund of booking deposit (less admin fees).
• 59 - 43 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of monies paid.
• 42 - 28 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of monies paid.
• 27 -   0 days prior to arrival:   0% refund of monies paid.
